Rules for using Rich Direction’s website, calculators, content, and free downloads.
Agreement and eligibility
By accessing or using richdirection.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the website or request a Resource. General educational pages and calculators may be viewed without age verification. By requesting a licensed downloadable Resource, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority where you live and agree to the applicable Free Resource License 1.0. Children under 13 should not submit personal information through the website. Rich Direction does not request a date of birth for ordinary website or free-resource use.
Website access and acceptable use
Rich Direction grants a limited, revocable right to access the public website for lawful personal use. Users may not disrupt the service; bypass controlled delivery; probe or access systems without authorization; introduce malicious code; scrape content at scale; copy, republish, resell, or redistribute protected material; remove notices; impersonate another person; misrepresent affiliation; use automated means that unreasonably burden the site; or use the site to violate law or third-party rights. Rich Direction may suspend or terminate access for suspected misuse.
Calculators and educational content
Calculators use user-entered assumptions to produce general estimates. Rich Direction does not provide individualized financial, investment, tax, legal, lending, or accounting advice. Results are not a loan offer, qualification or underwriting decision, tax return, guarantee, mortgage advice, debt-relief advice, or credit-repair advice. A calculator-generated CSV does not require an email address. Users are responsible for inputs and for independently verifying important decisions with appropriate providers or qualified professionals.
No professional relationship
Use does not create an adviser-client, accountant-client, attorney-client, lender-borrower, broker, fiduciary, tax-preparer, credit-repair, debt-settlement, or other professional relationship. Rich Direction is not the user’s bank, lender, mortgage broker, financial adviser, broker-dealer, accountant, CPA firm, law firm, tax preparer, credit-repair organization, debt-relief provider, or fiduciary.
Intellectual property and website license
Rich Direction content, original design, copy, calculators, and branded resources are protected to the extent applicable. Open-source and third-party components remain subject to their own notices and licenses. Users may link to public pages but may not imply affiliation, frame the website, remove notices, or copy content into competing products. Rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Free resources and future paid products
Prebuilt free resources require an email for controlled delivery and recovery. Marketing consent is separate and optional. Use of a supplied free Resource is additionally governed by the Free Resource License 1.0. The applicable resource description, version, format, instructions, and expiration or use limit also apply.
Paid checkout is inactive. Future paid purchases may be subject to separate Terms of Sale and a paid digital-product license presented before purchase.
Third-party services and links
Namecheap hosts the site and mailboxes, Brevo transmits requested resource email, and Google Analytics 4 provides optional audience measurement only after affirmative Analytics consent. Their services have separate terms and privacy practices. External links and official-source links are provided for convenience and are not endorsements or guarantees of availability, accuracy, or suitability. Rich Direction is not responsible for third-party content, services, security, or practices. Advertising, affiliate links, sponsorships, and paid checkout are inactive.
Availability, errors, and changes
Rich Direction may correct errors, change or withdraw features, update resources, limit access, or suspend the website without notice. Availability is not guaranteed. Historical information can become outdated, especially rates, taxes, laws, lender practices, official forms, and market conditions. Rich Direction has no obligation to maintain or update a free Resource unless it expressly agrees otherwise.
Warranty disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and Resources are provided "as is" and "as available," with all faults and without warranties of any kind, express, implied, or statutory. Rich Direction disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, accuracy, completeness, security, and uninterrupted availability. Rich Direction does not guarantee savings, tax results, qualification, approval, compatibility, a financial outcome, or that a file will meet a user’s particular needs. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rich Direction, LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, savings, opportunities, data, or goodwill; business interruption; corrupted or unavailable files; third-party conduct; or decisions made using an estimate, even if advised that such harm was possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of Rich Direction, LLC for all claims arising from free website use or a free Resource will not exceed $100. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct, or other conduct for which applicable law prohibits limitation.
Governing law and venue
These Terms and any dispute arising from the website or a Resource are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable consumer-protection law and any right that cannot lawfully be waived, a legal proceeding arising from these Terms, the website, or a Resource must be brought in a state court located in Oakland County, Michigan, or in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
General terms
If a provision is held unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Users may not assign or transfer their rights or obligations without Rich Direction’s written consent. Rich Direction may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, reorganization, sale of assets, or transfer of the website or business. These Terms and the incorporated documents are the entire agreement concerning their subject matter. Headings are for convenience only. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability, governing-law, venue, and enforcement provisions, survive.
Changes and contact
Rich Direction may revise these Terms by posting an updated version and effective or last-updated date. Material changes will apply prospectively unless law permits otherwise. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance where legally permitted. A new affirmative acknowledgment may be required for a later Resource request.
