License terms for Rich Direction paid digital products.
License grant
A completed purchase grants the purchaser a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to download and use the purchased file for the purchaser’s own personal financial planning and education. Rich Direction, LLC retains ownership of the product, formulas, structure, design, text, and other protected material. A purchase transfers a license to use the file, not ownership of the intellectual property.
Permitted use
The purchaser may save backup copies and enter, change, and review personal information within the workbook for the permitted personal use. The purchaser is responsible for protecting completed files that contain tax, income, or other financial information.
Restrictions
The purchaser may not redistribute, resell, rent, lend, sublicense, publicly post, publish, upload to a repository or marketplace, distribute to clients or customers, use the product commercially, incorporate it into a competing product, remove ownership notices, circumvent protection, or share an order or download link without prior written permission from Rich Direction, LLC.
Educational limitation
Paid products provide general educational estimates and planning tools. They are not tax preparation or individualized tax, legal, investment, accounting, lending, or financial advice. Official forms, instructions, laws, and qualified professional guidance control over a workbook result.
Versions and updates
The license covers the product and version identified in the order. A tax-year workbook does not include a future tax-year edition or continuing updates unless the product page expressly states otherwise. Rich Direction may issue corrections or replacement files at its discretion.
Termination
The license ends if the purchaser materially violates these terms. Upon termination, the purchaser must stop using and delete the product and all copies. Provisions concerning ownership, restrictions, disclaimers, and liability survive termination.
