Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small browser records. Local storage and session storage are similar browser features that can keep a preference or user-entered value on a device. Tags and SDKs can transmit information to a service provider. The Rich Direction theme uses first-party local storage or temporary session storage to save or apply privacy choices and optional calculator-memory preferences. It can load the Google Analytics 4 tag only after the visitor affirmatively accepts Analytics. No advertising tag, advertising pixel, advertising SDK, third-party embed, or external font is active in this release.
Categories
- Strictly necessary: core security, controlled delivery, and saved privacy choices.
- Functional: optional device-local calculator memory.
- Analytics: optional audience, acquisition, and engagement measurement through Google Analytics 4; active only after consent.
- Advertising: future approved advertising technology; inactive with no provider connected.
Rejecting optional categories does not block calculators or downloads. Optional categories are not preselected. Under the implemented basic consent approach, the Google Analytics tag remains blocked and sends no information unless Analytics is accepted. No advertising request occurs while advertising is inactive.

Consent, browser controls, and withdrawal
Use the persistent Cookie Settings control in the footer to accept optional categories, reject optional categories, customize choices, or later withdraw Analytics consent. The choice includes a version and date. Browsers can clear or block local storage, session storage, or cookies, which may clear saved preferences or require the choice to be made again in a later session.
If Analytics is rejected, the Google tag does not load and Rich Direction sends no Analytics information to Google. If Analytics is accepted and later withdrawn, the implementation disables future Analytics collection and attempts to remove Analytics cookies from the current browser. Browser settings can also block or clear cookies. Global Privacy Control keeps advertising off by default when detected.
Google signals, advertising-personalization signals, advertising storage, ad user data, ad personalization, and personalization storage remain disabled or denied in this release. No advertising provider, advertising script, advertising tag, advertising cookie, advertising pixel, or advertising network request is active. Contact privacy@richdirection.com.
